Welcome to Get Scouted. By accessing or using our mobile application, website, or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you must have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Keep your account information up to date
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Not share your account credentials with any third party

4. How the Service Works

Get Scouted is a platform that connects aspiring models with legitimate modeling agencies worldwide. We facilitate the connection by:

• Allowing you to create a modeling profile with photos and measurements
• Matching your profile with agencies that may be interested in your type
• Contacting agencies on your behalf through all available channels, including but not limited to email, WhatsApp, phone, and direct messaging
• Enabling agencies to review profiles and initiate contact with you

Get Scouted does not guarantee employment, representation, agency responses, or any specific outcome. While we actively contact agencies on your behalf using all available media, we cannot guarantee that any agency will respond, provide feedback, or offer representation. Agencies make their own independent decisions regarding which models to sign, and Get Scouted has no control over those decisions. We act as an intermediary platform and are not a modeling agency ourselves.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including photos and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purposes of: (a) operating and providing the Service; (b) promoting the Service on our website, social media, marketing materials, and any other media; (c) sharing your profile with modeling agencies; and (d) featuring your photos in connection with the Service without additional compensation or prior approval.

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Contain false or misleading information
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contain explicit, offensive, or inappropriate material
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or agencies
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape or collect data from the Service without authorization

7. Agency Verification

We make reasonable efforts to verify the legitimacy of agencies on our platform. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy of agency information or the quality of any opportunities offered. You should exercise your own judgment when interacting with agencies and never pay upfront fees to any agency.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription through your account settings or the app store from which you purchased it.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Get Scouted and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Scouted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Get Scouted operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
